HELMET: Super RARE WWII Schlueter Front Seam Fixed bale. The 327th GIR (Glider Infantry Regiment) markings were hand painted BY ME and aged/weathered. Aged M-1 chinstraps with solid brass hardware were assembled By Me. The helmet shell is in used condition; the OD paint & texture are new with a very authentic look & feel. the heat stamp is: 107A "S" ***Yes, the bales are 100% Original/authentic!!!***
For every 25 McCord Fixed Bales you will find, one is a Schlueter. They are very hard to find.
LINER: This is a WWII Era MSA helmet liner. This liner has been restored with new HBT webbing & raw steel A-washers, sweatband, liner strap & nape. All parts are high end aged/weathered repro's. Included is an aged Drawstring OD#7 helmet net & Genuine burlap scrim.
